על החיים ועל המוות- איך העזתי לעצב אלבום למעצבת אלבומים!!! Designing an album for an album designer - It's all or nothing.

רשומה חדשה זאת,
מלאה בסיפוק וגאווה עצמית שלי...
ומייד אני מספרת, איך העזתי לעצב אלבום לרבקי קורץ, מעצבת אלבומים בעבר ועד סוף 2015 הייתה בעלת החנות המתנות הייחודית 'רבקה' בחיפה.
פגשתי אותה בחנות עת הבאתי לשם מעט עבודות שלי למכירה. פגישה עסקית עניינית, הפכה עד מהרה, לאהבה ממבט ראשון. החלפנו חוויות על אומנות ויצירה, קשקשנו המון ונשארנו בקשר.
אחרי זמן מה פנתה אלי בסודי סודות, חברה טובה שלה והטילה עלי פצצה, לעצב אלבום ברכות ליום ההולדת 50 של רבקי!
שומו שמיים?!?!
כיצד היה לי האומץ לעצב אלבום למעצבת אלבומים???
לאשה דעתנית, מוכשרת, יוצרת ואמנית פסיפס מוכשרת, צבעונית ומדוייקת מאוד.
הססתי מאוד, אבל הלכתי על זה!
החלטתי שכל האלבום יעוצב בהקשר לפסיפס ולצבעוניות העזה של רבקי.
זהו אלבום ברכות שחולק לשלושה פרקים.
משפחה גרעינית, משפחה מורחבת וחברים לחיים.
לכל פרק עוצב שער, שהכיל מיני אלבום כותרת והרבה תמונות של המברכים.
כל עמוד באלבום הכיל את השם ותמונה או תמונות של המברך\כת ואת הברכה עצמה שנשלכה אלי במייל.
והכל עבר עיצוב מאאאאאוד צבעוני - מותאם בדייקנות , כי כזאת היא רבקי.

This new post, filled with delight and satisfaction of how I designed an album for an expert album. And I'll tell you how right now, how i dared to design an album for Rivkie kurtz,

A professional designer for years on years, who was the owner of the unique gift shop 'Rebeka' in Haifa.

I met her at the store while I was bringing a few of my products for sale. A business meeting, which rapidly turned out to be love at first sight. We exchanged experiences of art and creation, chatted feverishly and stayed in touch.

After a long while her good friend discretely approached me with a request that left me stunned. To design Rivkie an album for her 50'th birthday.

Holy mother of god!?!?

Where do I come up with the courage to design an album to an experienced album designer??? An opinionated woman, talented, creative, crafty, colourful, an expert in the art of mosaic and highly accurate.

I hesitated a great deal, but I went for it!

I decided that the entire album will be designed based on the Rivkie’s mosaics skills and colourfulness. 

A benediction album divided into three main chapters.

The close - inner family, the expanded family and life friends.

Each chapter had a cover page that contained miniature albums with different headers and lots of pictures of the congratulators.

Each page contained the name and the photo or pictures of the congratulator and the benediction itself (which was emailed to me).

Of-course everything was extremely colourful – accurately planned, because it is Rivkie we’re talking about after all.

העמוד הכיל ברכה ארוכה וגם מיני אלבום עם תמונות זוגיות.
החלטתי להצניע אותם מתחת לדלתות נפתחות עשויות מדף מדוגם להפחתת העומס הויזואלי:

The page contained a long benediction and a mini album with pictures of them together.

I’ve decided to protect their intimacy under the doors of imprinted paper to avoid a visual overload.

האלבום השלם מכיל 33 עמודי ברכות, בשני הפרקים הבאים אביא דוגמאות רק של חלק מהם.

In this section, Friends Greetings

זהו האלבום בחלקו, עושר של ברכות מלאות באהבה. ושופע צבעים טקסטורות ומרקמים.
היה לי עונג צרוף להתפרע עם צרופי צבעים שמעולם לא שלבתי אילו עם אילו.
וכי חשוב, שרבקי אהבה מאוד את האלבום ואת עיצובו.
בימים אילו שלחה לי את המכתב הזה:
... נעמה יקרה,
שנים רבות עסקתי בעיצוב אלבומים לאירועים שונים. בכל פעם שהייתי מסיימת אלבום
ומקבלת תגובות חמות וטובות, הייתי חושבת לעצמי- מי יעשה לי אלבום כזה, כשאגיע ליום
הולדת חשוב ועגול???
ואז פגשתי את נעמה מנור....
ומכיוון שמיד התחברנו והתלהבתי כ"כ מעבודותיה המושקעות, סיפרתי עליה לסובבים אותי,
וביניהם לשלומית, חברתי הטובה- כאחות לי- שהרימה הכפפה, פנתה לנעמה, "חפרה"
למשפחה ולחברים...ואני- זכיתי בגדול. הכי בגדול!
נעמה, שקצת הכירה אותי ואת עבודותיי, הצליחה בכישרון עצום וברגישות להוציא תחת ידיה
המבורכות יצירת אמנות של ממש. רק מי שמתעסק באמנות ויוצר בעצמו יכול להעריך את
ההשקעה הרבה, תשומת הלב הניתנת לפרטי פרטים, הגיוון והעושר בבחירת החומרים
הטקסטורות, הצבעים....
קיבלתי מתנה מושלמת, שלא תסולא בפז, המאגדת בתוכה את כל היקרים לי וביצירה
מקורית, מושלמת שמענגת אותי בכל פעם מחדש כשאני מטיילת בין דפיה!
אשרייך נעמה. ואשריי זכיתי!

This is the uncompleted albom, abundant with congratulations, wishes, and filled with love.

Plenty of colours, textures and patterns.

I had the extreme pleasure of going wild with various colour combinations I've never mixed before.

Most importantly, Rivkie LOVED the album and its design.

Here's what she wrote:

"Dear Naama,

For many years I've worked in designing albums for different people and occasions. Every time I finished an album and received warm and loving responses , I thought to myself who will make me an album, when I celebrate a round important Birthday???

Then I met Na'ama Manor ....

And since we instantly became friendly and I got excited from her work, I told all my friends about her, Including Shlomit, my great friend, as close as a sister, who picked up the gauntlet, turned Naama, "dug" up pictures and spoke to my family and friends ... for album material.

What can I say?

I won big. The biggest you can win!

Na'ama, knew me a little and knew my work, succeeded immensely using her talent and

sensitivity to issue a real work of art.

Only someone who deals with art and creates art himself itself, can recognize and appreciate the amount of investment and much attention.

Na'ama has given to every detail, much attention - The diversity, richness, choice materials, textures, colours are all planned.

I received the perfect gift, priceless, incorporating everything dearest to me and while being original.

It's still delightful for me every time, I travel throughout the album's pages!

המחמאות באות בצרורות או יגעת, מצאת, תאמין!

לקראת סיום השנה האזרחית,

מצאתי את עצמי מסכמת את שנת 2015,

נזכרת מה היה, ומה יצרתי בה...

הייתה שנה טובה וכייפית במיוחד.

במישור המשפחתי, הכל התחיל להתאזן, וכל אחד משלושת בני מצא את עצמו עסוק במסגרת מסודרת ומתגמלת.

Towards the end of the calendar year,

I found myself summarizing 2015

Remembering what happened and what I've created in the past year...

It was a happy year, filled with fun.

At the family level, everything started to level off,
and all three children found themselves
busy as part of orderly and rewarding programs.

במישור העסקי,

נוספו נשים לחוגי עיצוב האלבומים.

חלקן עובדות על פרוייקט אחד שמתמשך לאורך תקופה ארוכה.

חלקן מגיעות למפגשי טעימות, בהם בכל שבוע יוצרות פרוייקט אחר ויוצאות עם מוצר גמור שונה ומגוון.

הנה מה שכתבה לי יהודית:

מודה לך מאוד על האושר הרב שאת מעניקה לנו בסדנה.אני יוצאת אחרי 3 שעות של עשייה מרגיעה מאוד- בהרגשת כיף. ההדרכה שלך וההנחיה בשימוש בכל כך הרבה אביזרים ומכשירים שמצויים אצלך, נותנת את התחושה, שכל אחד מסוגל ליצור.

In the business level,

More women have joined album design classes.

Some of them are working on a single long-term project.

Some come to get a small taste from several sessions, where each week they design a completely different project and produce it with their own hands.

Here's what Judith wrote to me:

ופועל גם חוג הנערות שמעצבות את אלבומי בת המצווה החמודים שלהן, בחוג שפועל בימי ג' אחה"צ.

וגם שם כתבה לי, אמא של אלה מילים חמות:

".... חווית חוג האלבומים, מבחינתנו, יוצאת דופן. למרות שהילדה מלאה בחוגים ועשייה אחרת, היא סופרת את הימים עד 'החוג של נעמונת' וזה היום הכי טוב בשבוע!

דף האלבום שהיא יוצרת עובר בסוף כל מפגש באופן מידי בוואטס אפ של המשפחה הרחבה וכולם מתמוגגים מהנאה.
תהליך התאמות הצבעים והמרקמים עבר כאתגר לעיצוב חללים ועיצוב בגדים.

ולמרות שהבת מצווה עברה ממזמן, הילדה נשארה בחוג ויוצרת אלבומים לבני לבני הדודים.

There is also a girls class, that design their adorable Bat Mitzvah albums
during the classes that take place at Tuesday afternoon.
One of the Mom's wrote me these warm words:

"The album class experience, for us, is exceptional. Although the child has many different extra curricular activities, she counts the days until 'Na'amonet's Class" which is "The best day of the week!" (In her opinion)
Every page created in the album directly gets sent through Whatsapp immediately to the extended family and everyone dissolve with delight and pleasure. The process of matching the colors and textures now became a challenge to design spaces and design clothes.
Even though the Bat Mitzvah had passed long ago, the girl kept taking classes and creating albums for her relatives.

הראשונה, אומני משגב הציגו במתנ"ס קריית מוצקין

השנייה אומני משגב הציגו בבית הבד באבטליון.

השלישית תערוכה לאומנות נאיבית בקטוביץ פולין- שם מכרתי שתיים מהעבודות שלי.

השתתפתי גם בחצרות אומני משגב, שם מכרתי ונחשפתי לקהל המשגבי.

There were also four Exhibtions I took part of,

First, The Misgav Artists Display in the community center of Kiryat Motzkin.

Second, The Misgav Artists Display presented in the Avtalyon olive press.

The Third, an art exhibition in Katowice, Poland. I've sold Tow of my display there.

Lastly, the fourth was held last October in the Cinematec of Jerusalem, here's a link to a letter published about the display in the "Get A Life" blog. Style.

I attended Art Masters sales in various places throughout Misgav,
There I sold someof my arts and was exposed to community of Misgav .
